Enter: The Japanese Margarita aka the WABI SABI MARG 🇯🇵 A savory twist on the 50/50 margarita but with Japanese flavors. Here to remind us that imperfection can be beautiful.
WASABI SYRUP 👇
Add 10g wasabi to 100g each of white sugar and water. Blend, do NOT look at the syrup while blending!! Fine strain and store in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
WAKAME SEAWEED SALT 🌊
Add a pinch of dried wakame and a pinch of kosher sea salt to a mortar and pestle. Grind to desired coarseness. Enjoy on the rim of your marg!
Japanese Margarita

A Japanese twist on the 50/50 margarita
Ingredients
- 1 OZ BLANCO TEQUILA
- 1 OZ SAKÉ
- 3/4 OZ WASABI SYRUP*
- 3/4 OZ SUPER YUZU JUICE
- GARNISH WITH WAKAME SEAWEED SALT
Instructions
- prepare rocks glass with wakame salt
- add all ingredients to a shaker tin
- shake vigorously 10-15 seconds
- fine strain over ice into prepared glass
- enjoy
